Eat Me San Diego
Here at Magnolia's, I had one these babies:
On the top photo, ironically, clockwise on the top left are Fried Pork Chops, Fried Okra, Collard Greens, complimentary corn bread, Black eyed peas, Hush puppies, Mac 'n' Cheese, and Fried Chicken. Yumm. I had the Creole Okra Gumbo and although it was insanely good, I wish I didn't get it. It offered okra, scallops, shrimp, and red sausage. A scoop of rice topped it off but as the night went on, my cravings went straight for the Fried Okra. I should have got bowls and bowls of that.
I went to a coffee shop the next day.
Influx, located in Broadway in the Golden Hills District in San Diego. I don't know the address because I can't find my menu. The tiny cafe has a cool ambience, very east coast. It's a nice place to grab a hot cup of cocoa on a rainy day and put your feet up while watching the rain fall. Taken from a camera phone, I ordered the Iced Chai Latte which tasted sweetly of spices. And it wasn't so much milky but creamy.
And a bowl of Summer and Fall fruits given from my neighbor. Not so much SD restaurant related.. Anyways, that's all for now.
